How much does it cost? and what payment types are accepted.
We charge $20/person per 1-hour session & $40/person per 2-hour session. Group rates are offered for parties greater than 20 people. We also offer full facility rental options. Give us a call at (812) 402-0390 to learn more about facility rentals for your next group outing.
We are CREDIT or DEBIT CARD ONLY! We do not accept cash. Our axeperts do accept tips in the form of cash or Venmo.
Do we need to make a reservation?
Yes – We require reservations! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW!
When making your reservation there is a non-refundable deposit required based on the size of your group. We can make changes to your reservations up until the day prior to your reservation. If you have to reschedule – your deposit can be transferred to the rescheduled reservation if the rescheduling is done at least 24 hours in advance.
Walk-ins are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
When should i arrive at Plaid & timber on the day of my reservation?
No more than 5-10 minutes prior to your reservation time. We train multiple parties at the same time so if you arrive early you will likely be waiting until the time your reservation is supposed to start or until all of the parties in your time slot have arrived and are checked in.
is there an age restriction?
Yes! Ages 13-15 can throw axes with parent or guardian present. Ages 16-17 can throw so long as someone 18+ can sign a waiver to accept responsibility for the minor - being present isn’t required.
What should i wear?
Closed toed shoes are a must. NO FLIP FLOPS! Also you are doing an activity that requires you lifting your arms up over your head. You may want to be conscious of the length of shirt or dress you wear, but you are welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards can be purchased in any amount.
do you serve alcohol? can we bring our own?
As of October 21, 2021 YES we do serve a variety of beer, hard seltzer, ciders, and cocktails! As far as bringing your own – NO you cannot bring any of your own alcoholic beverage on our premises – including the parking lot.
If you are found to be sneaking beverages into the facility or going outside and drinking in the parking lot you will be asked to leave and will forfeit any remaining throwing time.
Getting our license to sell adult beverages was a long process and we will not allow someone to ruin our hard work.
do you serve food and non-alcoholic beverages?
We do have food available per our requirements for our alcoholic beverage license. the snack menu we have is a finger food style menu. if you are looking for a full meal we highly encourage customers to either bring their own food or have food delivered to P&T - the only exception is that no outside beverages are permitted.
We do sell non-alcoholic beverages. NO outside drinks are permitted in the building or on the premises.
can i bring my own axe?
No! Insurance requires P&T to provide all axes to our customers.
The only exception to this is if you have an axe that is legal for use in sanctioned WATL leagues.
is smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco allowed?
Inside the building – No, we are a tobacco-free facility inside.
If you would like to step outside to smoke, vape, or chew you can do so.
